Typhoon Krosa roared ashore today on China’s south-east coast after more than one million people were evacuated, the government announced.

Typhoon Krosa roared ashore today on China’s south-east coast after more than one million people were evacuated, the government announced.

Krosa made landfall at about 3.30pm local time along the boundary of densely populated Zhejiang and Fujian provinces a day after killing four people in Taiwan, the China Meteorological Administration said on its website.
