McCanns 'not expecting Portuguese police visit'

The parents of Madeleine McCann were not expecting a visit by Portuguese police today despite widespread speculation that detectives have arrived in the UK.

Officers investigating the four-year-old’s disappearance were reportedly travelling to Leicestershire with a list of fresh questions for Kate and Gerry McCann, who have been named formal suspects in the case.
