A new, smaller Greek Cabinet will be sworn in today, giving conservative Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis a streamlined governing team for his party’s second term.

The ministers – about half of them keeping thier posts since the previous government, including most of the top positions – will be presented formally to President Karolos Papoulias at the presidential mansion.
