25 militants killed in Pakistan battle

Up to 25 insurgents were killed today in a battle between Pakistani troops and militants near the Afghan border, the army said.

Army spokesman Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad said nine soldiers were wounded in the fighting near Razmak, a town in the troubled South Waziristan region.
