SAS soldier killed in Iraq to be named

A member of the SAS killed in what is understood to have been a special forces mission in Iraq is expected to be named today.

The Ministry of Defence said the member of the Parachute Regiment was killed in the early hours of Wednesday morning while carrying out “routine operations in support of coalition activity”.
