Boris Johnson launches London mayoral campaign

Boris Johnson today officially launched his campaign to be the Tories’ candidate for Mayor of London, declaring that the city's residents deserved a “better return on their investment”.

Mr Johnson, Conservative MP for Henley, set out his stall at a colourful launch at County Hall in central London.
