Space shuttle Endeavour touched down in Florida today as it returned former teacher Barbara Morgan and six other crew to Earth following their mission to the international space station.

Endeavour landed at Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral at 12.32pm local time (5.32pm Irish Time), 13 days after the shuttle’s belly was damaged shortly after lift-off.
