North Korea threatens action against US military drills

North Korea has renewed its vehement criticism of US-South Korean military exercises, warning today it will take action in response outside the course of diplomacy that it has recently pursued with Washington.

“If the US continues hostile military acts, we will take strong countermeasures separately from the position of dialogue that we have stuck to,” the North’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
