The BBC World Service is to be removed from FM radio in Russia at the request of the Russian authorities, the BBC said today.

The BBC World Service is to be removed from FM radio in Russia at the request of the Russian authorities, the BBC said today.

Moscow station Bolshoye Radio has been broadcasting programmes from the BBC Russian Service since May.
