Dozens of passengers were injured when a Turkish ferry rammed head-on into a Ukrainian-flagged freighter ship anchored in the Sea of Marmara today.

The ferry, although damaged, returned to its dock in Istanbul shortly after the accident, and ambulances and helicopters rushed to the scene, Tolga Uyar, ferry company spokesman, told private NTV television.
