A Scottish man who has been on death row in the US for more than 20 years had his death sentence overturned by a federal court of appeal today, Amnesty International said.

A Scottish man who has been on death row in the US for more than 20 years had his death sentence overturned by a federal court of appeal today, Amnesty International said.

Kenny Richey was convicted of arson and murder in the state of Ohio in 1986 and sentenced to death on January 27 1987, but has always protested his innocence.
