Italian tenor Pavarotti 'in hospital with pneumonia'

Opera star Luciano Pavarotti has been admitted to hospital for observation in his hometown of Modena in northern Italy, hospital officials there said today.

Local media reports said the international singing star was suffering from pneumonia.
