Troops injured in suicide bomb blast

A suicide car bomber blew himself up near a convoy of foreign troops in Afghanistan today.

The attack on the outskirts of Kabul left at least two civilians wounded, the Interior Ministry spokesman said.

The bomber targeted the convoy on Kabul’s Jalalabad road, and some foreign troops were also wounded in the blast, said Zemerai Bashary, spokesman for the Interior Ministry.

He could not say how many troops were injured.

The US military confirmed the attack, but did not have details on any casualties.
