Rockets 'can reach Tel Aviv', says Hezbollah leader
Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah today said his group possesses an arsenal of rockets that can reach “any corner” of the state of Israel, including Tel Aviv, from Lebanon.
“We could absolutely reach any corner and any point in Occupied Palestine,” Nasrallah said in excerpts of an interview with the Qatar-based al Jazeera satellite TV station.
The interview marks a year since the month-long war between Israel and Hezbollah guerrillas. Nasrallah said the conflict did not succeed in diminishing Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
Repeating earlier claims, the Hezbollah leader said his group could already have fired at the Israeli capital last summer during the conflict, but had avoided doing so.
