Bush reclaims power after cancer screen

US President George Bush reclaimed the powers of his office today after handing them to Vice President Dick Cheney for more than two hours while he had colon cancer screening under sedation.

Doctors removed five small polyps during the procedure at Camp David, Maryland.

“None appeared worrisome,” White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said.
