Brown and Sarkozy 'ready to go to Darfur'

The leaders of Britain and France today said they would be prepared to go to Darfur to push for peace.

“People are dying and people are suffering and it must stop,” said French President Nicolas Sarkozy at a press conference with Gordon Brown following their first meeting since both took office.
