A senior American diplomat missing for four days has been found dead in a rural area of western Cyprus, state radio reported today.

A senior American diplomat missing for four days has been found dead in a rural area of western Cyprus, state radio reported today.

CyBC state radio said Lt. Col. Thomas Mooney, the US embassy’s military attaché, was found dead in the Lefka area, about 30 miles west of Nicosia.
