London blast 'would have been on Middle East scale'

Experts said the car bomb found today in a car in London's Haymarket would have created a devastating explosion on the scale of those seen in Baghdad and Israel.

The combination of large quantities of petrol and gas cylinders could have created a blast with a radius of about 200 yards.
