Man and woman held over missing Madeleine case

Spanish police arrested an Italian man and a Portuguese woman today with possible links to the case of Madeleine McCann, the four-year-old British girl who vanished nearly two months ago during a holiday in Portugal.

It was not clear, however, if the two were suspected of having a role in the girl’s disappearance.
