Karzai condemns NATO and coalition for civilian deaths

Afghan President Hamid Karzai today accused Nato and US-led forces of mounting “careless operations” that killed more than 90 civilians in the last 10 days.

Such operations “will have no benefit for Afghanistan,” Karzai said, and urged foreign troops to improve co-ordination with Afghan forces in order to prevent civilian deaths.
