Blair: Progress on EU reform treaty

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said today that progress was being made towards securing a treaty for EU reform which meets Britain’s key demands.

Speaking at a crunch summit in Brussels, Mr Blair insisted that a concession made to France would not undermine the EU’s commitment to business competitiveness.
