Bird flu detected at Czech poultry farm

Hundreds of turkeys at a farm in eastern Czech Republic have tested positive for the bird flu virus.

The country’s veterinary authority spokesman Zbynek Semerad said further tests would be conducted to determine whether the birds had the deadly H5N1 strain.
