Israeli tanks move into Gaza - report

Israeli tanks were today reported to have crossed into the Gaza Strip.

News reports said they moved in close to where 150 Palestinians trying to flee had been trapped at the Erez Crossing.

The Israeli Army had no comment on the operation.
