Fatah prisoners to be released in Gaza amnesty

All Fatah prisoners taken by Hamas in Gaza will be released, a Hamas spokesman announced today.

The captives, including several senior field commanders seized by Hamas men, will be freed unharmed, said the spokesman, Abu Obeideh, at a press conference in Gaza City.

Gunmen from Hamas took control of the entire Gaza Strip this week in five days of fighting.
