British princes plead for Channel 4 not to show Diana photos
Britain's prince William and prince Harry’s senior aide has written to Channel 4 on their behalf calling on the broadcaster not to use graphic photos of the crash that killed their mother.
The princes believe the use of the images is a “gross disrespect” to her memory, Clarence House said today.
Diana: The Witnesses In The Tunnel, due to be shown on Wednesday night, includes a picture of Diana receiving oxygen from a French doctor.
But Channel 4 said it had weighed the princes’ concerns against the legitimate public interest of the documentary and will be broadcasting the images.
