Tiger makes splash at US zoo

Odin the white Bengal tiger has been showing off his jumping and swimming skills at a US theme park in California.

Eight feet long and weighing in at nearly 32 stones, Odin’s daily training sessions at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo involve jumping over trainer Lee Munro, and diving underwater in his pool to grabs pieces of meat.

Five-year-old Odin was born at the park and has been hand-raised.

Odin’s Tiger Island is home of the park’s Bengal tigers where guests are treated to daily displays.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, formerly Six Flags Marine World, is an amusement and animal park.

It has a variety of roller coasters and other amusement rides, with a number of animal exhibits and shows.
