Oslo police chief Anstein Gjengedal had his wallet lifted while he was on an airport train, just as his department was set to launch a massive campaign in Norway against pickpockets.

The Oslo newspaper Dagbladet reported that Gjengedal was in plain clothes when a group of passengers jostled him on Monday, and that his wallet was gone from his jacket’s inner pocket when he checked a few minutes later.
