Pickpocket snatches police chief's wallet in Oslo
Oslo police chief Anstein Gjengedal had his wallet lifted while he was on an airport train, just as his department was set to launch a massive campaign in Norway against pickpockets.
The Oslo newspaper Dagbladet reported that Gjengedal was in plain clothes when a group of passengers jostled him on Monday, and that his wallet was gone from his jacket’s inner pocket when he checked a few minutes later.
