India: Suspect detained in mosque-blast probe

Police have detained a man suspected of supplying the explosives used in last week’s deadly blast at a mosque in southern India, authorities said.

Police have detained a man suspected of supplying the explosives used in last week’s deadly blast at a mosque in southern India, authorities said.

The suspect, a Muslim, is the first person to be detained by police in connection with the Hyderabad bombing in which 11 people died.

He was detained in Jalna, a city in western India, said a police official.
