Children found dead in lake after canoe capsizes

Rescuers found the bodies of two young German siblings in an Italian lake today and were searching for the children’s father after the presumed capsize of the tourists’ canoe, authorities said.

Police Colonel Paolo Occhipinti told reporters at Lake Bolsena that authorities believed the canoe had turned over as strong winds stirred up waves.
