Algerians to vote amid increasing violence

Security officers are out in force for the Algerian election after a recent surge in violence.

The ballot comes five weeks after suicide bombings killed 30 people in the capital and as security forces continue a military campaign against extremist groups in Algeria’s mountainous interior.
