Martin Luther King's daughter dies

Yolanda Denise King, daughter and eldest child of US civil rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr, has died.

Steve Klein, a spokesman for the King Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, said Ms King died late yesterday in Santa Monica, California, aged 51.

Mr Klein said the family did not know the cause of death, but thought it might have been a heart problem.
