Pope warns drug traffickers in Brazil

Pope Benedict condemned the scourge of illegal drugs across Latin America, using a visit to a drug treatment centre today to warn traffickers they face divine justice for their deeds.

Saying that Brazil and the rest of Latin America face dangerously high rates of drug abuse, Benedict urged “the drug-dealers to reflect on the grave harm they are inflicting on countless young people and on adults from every level of society.”
