A roadside bomb killed seven Thai soldiers today in the latest violence to hit the country’s restive south.

They were on patrol in Narathiwat Province’s Rangae district when a bomb exploded near their vehicle, said Police Col. Manote Anandritkul. The explosion killed them instantly.
