20 killed in suicide bombing at Baghdad funeral

A suicide bomber wearing an explosives belt blew himself up inside a funeral tent in a Shiite enclave in a volatile province north of Baghdad today, killing at least 20 people and wounding 30, officials said.

The attack occurred as a Shiite family was holding a funeral in Khalis, a flashpoint Shiite city in Diyala province, where US-Iraqi forces have seen fierce fighting with Sunni and Shiite militants.
