Seven killed in Iraq suicide blast

At least seven people were killed and 18 wounded today in a suicide car bomb attack on an Iraqi army checkpoint in northern Iraq.

The attack occurred at about 9am local time near Baqouba, 35 miles north-east of Baghdad.
