70 killed in Nigerian fuel fire

At least 70 people were killed in a fire sparked when a tanker overturned in northern Nigeria.

At least 20 wounded were being treated at hospitals after the fire late yesterday on a remote road in northern Kaduna state, said Saad Yahaya, a police spokesman for the region.
