French presidential candidate Sarkozy pulls ahead
French presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy lengthened his lead over his chief two rivals, according to a poll released today, as all three sought to broaden their electoral base in the volatile race.
The poll by TNS-Sofres said voter uncertainty was still high just a month before the first-round vote, with 39% of respondents undecided. The Constitutional Council will release the official list of candidates in Paris later today.
