Wedding bus plunges down gorge in India

A bus carrying a wedding party plunged into a gorge in mountainous northern India, killing at least 18 people and injuring another 28, it was reported today.

The bus fell 600 feet after part of a highway where it was parked caved in, the Press Trust of India news agency quoted superintendent of police VP Singh as saying.
