18 arrested in Israeli raid

Israeli troops raided a Palestinian military HQ early today and arrested 18 fugitives who had sought shelter there, Palestinian and Israeli officials said.

In the raid, about 30 military vehicles surrounded the three-storey building in a residential neighbourhood in southern Ramallah.
