Ten Shia pilgrims killed by suicide bombers

Two suicide bombers exploded themselves in a crowd of Shiite pilgrims south of Baghdad today, killing at least 10 people, Iraqi police said.

Two suicide bombers exploded themselves in a crowd of Shiite pilgrims south of Baghdad today, killing at least 10 people, Iraqi police said.

The co-ordinated attack happened on a main street in Hillah, about 60 miles south of Baghdad, said Capt. Muthana Khalid.

Sixteen other people were wounded in the blasts, he said.
