German police hunt smirking child killer

German police are hunting a paedophile after a nine year-old-boy who went for his first tram trip alone was kidnapped and murdered.

Police in the eastern city of Leipzig issued a CCTV image of a smiling Mitja Hofmann sitting next to a smirking suspect named as Uwe Kolbig.
