Five police officers killed in Chechnya blast

An explosion at a police base in Chechnya killed five officers today, the Interfax news agency reported.

The blast took place at the base of a Chechen Interior Ministry unit in the Gudermes district, east of the regional capital, Grozny, Interfax reported.
