Chief Iranian nuclear negotiator to meet head of IAEA

Tehran’s chief nuclear negotiator and the head of the UN nuclear watchdog agency planned to meet today, just hours before the agency was scheduled to issue recommendations on withdrawing technical aid for some nuclear projects run by Iran.

Talks between Ali Larijani, Iran’s senior nuclear envoy, and Mohamed ElBaradei, the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency, were confirmed by an IAEA official who asked for anonymity because he was not the official spokesperson for the agency.
