Mobile phone firms sign child safeguards deal

More than a dozen mobile phone companies today signed a deal to step up safeguards protecting children using mobiles.

The agreement follows concerns raised by a Commission survey last year showing youngsters increasingly exposed to bullying, sexual grooming for abuse, pornography and violence via mobile phone.
