Study casts doubt on secret Pollock collection

Analysis of the paint used in a secret stash of works said to be by Jackson Pollock has questioned their authenticity.

The 32 drip paintings were discovered in 2002 by a son of one of Pollock’s close friends, who stumbled upon them wrapped in brown paper in his father’s Long Island storage facility.
