No retaliation for Eilat bombing, says Olmert
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert decided today not to escalate Israeli attacks on Gaza following a Palestinian suicide bombing in Eilat on Monday that killed three people.
Olmert met with top military officials to discuss Israel’s response to the suicide bombing. Olmert decided to refrain from a new round of attacks in Gaza and continue to observe a ceasefire agreed with the Palestinians in November, Israeli media reported.
