Bombing kills 10, wounds 35 near Shiite mosque

A police chief was among 10 people killed today when a bomb exploded near a Shiite Muslim mosque.

A further 35 people were wounded in the explosion in a crowded old quarter of Peshawar, in a north-western Pakistan, police said.
