France’s presidential election would be too close to call if held today, according to two polls released today.

France’s presidential election would be too close to call if held today, according to two polls released today.

One of them gave a slight edge to conservative Nicolas Sarkozy, the governing UMP party’s candidate, and the other showing his Socialist rival, Segolene Royal, in the lead.
