Russia will soon send a team to Britain to investigate the poisoning death of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko, the country’s top prosecutor said today in a television interview.

Prosecutor-general Yuri Chaika said that Russia had submitted a lengthy request for assistance in the case to British authorities and was expecting full cooperation, the RIA-Novosti news agency quoted him as saying in an interview with Rossiya state TV channel.
