Sudanese President: UN forces 'not needed' in Darfur

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir today said African Union forces can maintain order in Darfur and United Nations forces are not needed.

“Our experience with UN operations in the world is not encouraging,” al-Bashir said today at his residence.
